Hi - My GF and I are driving from Leipzig to Dresden this coming weekend to spend a few days sightseeing etc.
We are not hardcore Vegans, but like to try different restaurants / cafes that are doing Vegan style food - can anyone recommend some places to try in Dresden please?

There is a little place named LadenCafé aha in Kreuzstraße next to Kreuzkirche and Altmarkt - shop and restaurant, organic and fair-trade oriented. Most but not everything is vegetarian; dishes which contain meat products are clearly marked on the menu, vegan dishes are also marked. The flair is a bit "alternative", food is very good and not too expensive.
OK - we are staying with friends of my GF so if we ask them to point us in the direction of Outer Neustadt we may stumble on some other alternatives.
What would be your top 5 things to see / do in Dresden?? :)

I am sure there are more, I'd suspect them in Outer Neustadt which is the "scene" quarter of the city, but I am not familiar enough with that area to know any in particular.
