Hey, I have 2 nights as a layover in Frankfurt before heading home. Coming off a trip that has left my wallet thinner then to be expected. Does anybody have any ideas where the cheapest places to stay are? Are there any Japanese style capsule hotels around the train station or airport?
Thanks for any input in advance

Frankfurt Youth Hostel (the one mentioned in #1)
Frankfurt Hostel

Pension Backer
Single room EUR 25,00. Double EUR 40,00. Incl. breakfast.

If you stay over a weekend and there is no big fair in Frankfurt you may want to check also with HRS for specials with business hotels.

Single ticket local public transport from the airport to anywhere in Frankfurt is EUR 3,55.

Try couchsurfing or hospitality club (google search), stay for free and get to know a local.

#4 Just bad web design. The menu is in the top frame mostly hidden.

As Pension Backer has no mail address given, I guess they don't use internet at all for themselves. I also know people who read their mails only once a month. At max.

It's not uncommon for cheap places to have no homepage at all.
