Cheap hotels in Braunschwieq?

Hello, I am trying to find out about a cheap hotel/hostel in Braunschwieq...Can anybody help me? Either a website or the name of a place would be great...thanks!

As usual in Germany, the tourist information's website is easy to find: www.braunschweig.de</a><BR><BR>Sorry, can't recommend any hotels there because I usually stay with Mommy&Daddy. But I hope the website will help.

In May this year I stayed at the Mercure Atrium which is located near the train station, and from which you can walk downtown easily enough. The hotel was the usual Mercure standard, and the internet price (special) was €55 a double per night without breakfast. The hotel's website can be accessed through the ACCOR chain, of which Mercure is one level of hotel.

Accor also owns the Etap hotel chain - 35 Euros for a double room. The rooms are plastic cells, but they're clean. About 5km to the city centre I think.
