Hello,

I will be travelling around Germany (all over) and am trying to think of the best/cheapest/convenient way to do it.

I was thinking about travelling around, by car and stopping at camping places, which have chalets or villas to rent for the night, as I dont want to be tied down and want the opportunity to be flexible. The problem is that all I can find is a few that have a minimum stay of 3 nights...

If you know of any campsites, caravan parks etc that rent accommodation... please let me know the website or name.

Thank you.

Patrizio

Camping places which have chalets or villas are not common at all. Mostly motor homes there which are used by their owner as weekend homes. Plus a few real campers with tents.

For vacation apartments (or chalets) a minimum stay of 3 nights is rather common.

Private rooms (~ B&B) and guest houses/pensions can be found nearly everywhere (apart from the centers of big cities). Best source for them are the homepages of the towns/their tourist offices. Or go to the tourist office in person and ask.
