Hi,
try this website: www.callabike.de, there´s an english summary on that page. You´ll find this bikes everywhere in Munich (If the LED blinks green you can rent it, if it´s red, the bike is used by someone else). You just need a credit card and a mobile phone.
I think this is really the best solution for tourists, and not only for the english garden, Munich is a "Bike City" and you can bike around in the whole city,
