Are lavender fields fragrant (or do the plants need to be distilled)? If yes, can you smell them even in searing heat in the middle of the day? Also, which fields are accessible by public transport

HI. I have a property in Aveyron (Midi Pyrenees) that needs some work done to improve it. The work is general like decorating, or helping renovate a wooden terrace. In exchange I can offer free accomodation of 1 double bed and 1 single bed (3 sharing) or a seperate sofa,(not very comfy).
There is also the possiblity of travel from Bologne to the south where my property is located. Take a look at the images, see if you fancy a break. Oh, I am likely to be leaving in early August about the 6th, or…

Kerouac, especially, I thought you might enjoy this. First, however, from those of us who only experience Paris for short times, years apart, thank you for your post on how to see the fireworks on Bastille Day but more so for your continued wisdom and advise for all of us dreaming of Paris.

I'm looking for a single room in nice cheap hotel in Paris or a good hostel with no curfew (in Montmartre or 11e Arrondissement if possible) for me to stay one week from August 11th to 18th.
The maximum I'm willing to pay is 25 Euros per night.
Do you got any suggestion?
Thanks

Hello!
I would greatly appreciate advice on how to most efficiently get from airport Charles de Gaulle to station Paris St Lazare. Am landing at 19:40 and hoping to catch a train at 21:20 on a Friday. Is this realistic? How?
Thanks a million,
Anna

Sorry to be a pest today, but I'm kind of in a panic to get this done.

Have you flown Zoom from Canada to Paris or Britain?

Are they reliable?

I have a 4.5 hr layover at Charles de Gaulle starting at 5:45 am. If it makes any diference, I arrive Kenyan air and depart Air France. Do I have enough time to leave the airport? If so what can I visit?

Has anyone flown from Vancouver to Paris lately?

I have to go in early September, around the 6th or 7th.

I have mostly flown Vancouver to Frankfurt to connect to elsewhere in Europe and I am wondering if that is the case in flying from Vancouver to Paris too.
