I am arriving from England, and a friend from Canada at Toulouse Airport, where we will meet up. Any info on a location?

I need to purchase 2 train tickets from Perpignan to Barcelona for June 12. The best price now is 34 euros per ticket; I've read that some lower fares are often posted about 3 months out but that these can sell out quickly. I prefer to travel mid-morning so as to enjoy most of the day in Barcelona and would like to get the best fare possible for that time. Should I purchase now or can I expect to find some lower fares to be posted soon?

I will be in Paris 8-11th of March. Booked a place in 7 square Dunois Paris 13 and planing to have a lot of walks (but will need use public transport too). I found that it's possible to buy public transport day tickets http://www.ratp.fr/en/ratp/r_61654/parisvisite/? Did I understand correct that 1 ticket covers almost all public transport in Paris? As well like I understood the place I booked is in 13th area, so it's 4-5 zone (by public transport map)?

I'm interested in buying a new French car.However I do not have an address there,but do have a garage in Calais.
I've had 'hassle' driving in France in both Spanish and English cars,so was wondering about buying my next car in France..prices are better than in the UK.
I did look at registering my old UK car over there,but it needed an address,and was hassle....so could i buy,insure and run a new car from there?

I know there has been much discussion about the long stay visa but I have not come across any posts on whether any Indians have applied for a long stay visitor visa i.e more than 3 months upto a year (type D) the one where you can't work.

If there is anyone with an Indian passport who has applied for this visa with success please do give me a shout. I have gone through all the document requirements but would love to talk to someone who has been through the process just to get a sense…

I'm super keen to undertake some sort of French immersion course this summer and am trying to figure out the cheapest/best way to do this. A lot of the all-inclusive courses are obviously really $$.

Does anyone know a cheap-but-good immersion course? Or an alternative way of doing this? E.g. thinking about staying in a cheap hostel and getting good local French classes.

A friend and I arrive in Bastia, Corsica 17th May and will tour/hike the island until 27th May. We’ll rent a car. Does anyone know how booked up it gets on the island? I have guests planning on flying into CDG and I see its an 8 hour train ride to Briancon. Must be a better way?
