I'm considering heading over to Paris late next year to be an au pair, however, most of the agencies I've researched online look suspicious! Can anyone recommend a legitimate, reliable company to use?

I understand it is possible to purchase or lease a car in France and then sell it back to the original owner thus avoiding many tax's and insurance costs . Are there restrictions and who handles these transactions?

We are planning a 2 week trip to France next June and are trying to get a basic itinerary down. I have found a small flat on AirBnB for a Paris stay. It's a brand new listing with no reviews so I'm a bit hesitant. The price makes it much better value than most other similar places. This might be because the host has set the price low to attract his first clients but I'm worried about it being a scam. Does anyone have any tips about how to verify if the place is legit? I ran a reverse image search on the photos to see if they had been lifted from somewhere but nothing came up.

I'm heading to Paris with my 12 yo daughter and have been looking into buying a city pass which will give us entry into a lot of major sites. The children's pass is a lot cheaper than the adult pass. The problem is that it is only good for children up to 11 years of age. My question is- if I went ahead and bought the child's pass online for my daughter, would I be asked for proof of age on entry to any of the sites?

I'm flying with Air Madagascar from Charles de Gaulle Airport, and live in London. Air Mada don't have any code sharing with other airlines so it's much more expensive to book flights from London. A simple question I hope. I'm planning to do some hiking in September in the Alps above Chamonix. Is there a website in English where you can book refuges/huts in the mountains? I read this isn't the busiest period, but it is advisable to book ahead to ensure a bed.
