Now that the TGV has finally made it to Strasbourg I was hoping to use it to get to CDG, but it seems from my researches that you still have to change trains - does anyone happen to know if this TGV does go direct to the airport? The SNCF are saying that it does, but it doesn't seem to when you look up the connexions.

As I am usually laden down I am not keen to be changing trains enn route to the airport. I also had a very unpleasant experience at the Gare du Nord of the getting ripped off kind that I am not keen to repeat.

Hope someone knows!

There seem to be 3 trains on weekdays going from Strasbourg to CDG TGV, at 05.43am; 11.56am; and 19.00. When you do a timetable search type AEROPORT CDG 2 TGV in the destination box, and that will bring up all trains going directly from Strasbourg to CDG.

But if those times are unsuitable, there are something like 19 TGV's between Paris and Strasbourg every day. You can take the 350 bus from Gare de l'Est to CDG (cost = 3 metro tickets).
