I would like to know if credit cards like Eurocard and Diners are usfiul in Paris. I would use them to purchase tickets (for example ticket to Louvre, Eiffel tower,...), Carte Orange, and some markets and not expensive restaurants.
I thing carying cash is not as practical as credit cards. And I don't know how much money I'll spend.
BTW: My credit cards were issued in EU (in Slovenia).

Thank you for any advice.

I cannot help you with Eurocard, but I did not see that Dinners was accepted that much in France. There is a four star hotel in St Paul de Vence that only accepts Dinners, but I think that is because there are no limits on the card. I would recommend a VISA or Master Charge. I have never had a problem with either.

I hope someone who lives in Paris will make a comment here as my knowledge is very limited.

you can even pay with CC at McDonald's- although often there is a minimum amount. defitely no problem at museums, carte orange, hotels and restos. not a markets though. Does diner's still exist? MasterCard/Eurocard and Visa are the ones to go for.
