Hello,

I have been looking at furnished appartments for short term rental (1 week) on Parisnet.net - where bookings are made direct with appartment owners who advertise on the site. There seem to be some really good options for 2BR flats. Does anyone have any experience in booking accommodation this way? Any pitfalls to watch for? Would appreciate your thoughts.

I have rented an apartment in Paris (and NYC) through VRBO.com, and have rented houses in other countries and have always been pleased with the results. I highly recommend renting an apartment instead of staying in a hotel. It makes the visit so much more fulfilling (for me.)

I have rented in Paris through chezvous.com and was very happy. I also have used vrbo.com in other places, again with excellent results.
