Hi
I will be travelling with family (wife, mother, kids 1 and 7 yr) to paris for 4 nights in last week of May 2017.
I have currently two hotel options Hotel France Albion vs Best Western Hotel Opéra Drouot.

Anyone knows which one is better option ? charges are similar.

Thanks
Vishal

Better for what?

Better option for stay for "a family on vacation". Different criteria like surroundings of hotel suitable for family, hotel infrastructure (e.g. paper thin walls ), area safe for longer stay etc.

Both are in the same 9th district of Paris.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9th_arrondissement_of_Paris
http://www.hotel-albion.fr/en/ is a normal 2* hotel
http://www.hotel-operadrouot.com/ a 3* hotel with the Best Western label - number of reports you can find in the different sites like trip adviser or the booking sites. You are in the middle of most places to visite and in short walking distances. But at you disposal are all local public transport in Paris too. Sorry but no idea about how small the walls are.

Everyone's opinion can be different. But TripAdvisor can give you a general feeling for the hotel by reading the reviews:

When setting out on a journey, do not seek advice from those who have never left home.

thanks both of you.

one of the reason i got confused was tripadvisor rated 3 star best western hotel as #900 where as 2 start france albion as #200

when i went through the comments, both hotels looked same to me (similar area etc). so i though it was worth checking with someone before i confirm the booking.

Paris has an official star rating system, based on hotel facilities. For instance, a restaurant on-site is worth an extra star. They have no significance for quality of service, ambience, set price etc. Anyhow, my first concern is access to the Metro subway system, and second is for noise. Google Maps gives some idea whether the building is located on a side street or a possibly noisy main boulevard.
