Yes, and we have to get to Beziers, and once in Geneva we have to get to Troistorrents (or a station down in the valley). SNCF is generally wonderful but this is a bit too much.
Last year I did it by train. On the return there was a scare at Lyon station about escaping gas. We were stuck in a sweltering train for an hour but they came round with free bottles of water. The result was that I missed the last connection at Beziers to Bedarieux where my wife was meeting me. SNCF paid for a taxi to take me the 45 kilometres and rang Bedarieux station to tell them to alert my wife.
That is service.
If only they didn't strike so much.
