Hello all :) I would like to ask for some tips and recommendations of some interesting places (I prefer nature), places/shops/markets with cheap food, some plagues in/around Marseille, the cheapest transportation in/around Marseille or any useful tips. Btw, I don´t like commercial and tourist places, so I am looking for not very known places. I would like to visit for example Les Calanques. Thank you very much!
Make a trip to the Frioul Islands...skip the Chateaux If if you don't like tourist places but go directly to the biggest Island, where you can do some hiking and see the nature; only the port is touristy with lot's of fish restaurants (but the fish is delicous, because it's very fresh).

Look at this http://www.nomadicmatt.com/travel-guides/france-travel-tips/marseilles/#tips.
It will be difficult (and not only in Marseille) to find nature in a big city. For the Calanques you can walk or go by local bus sévices.Same for beaches. For this download a map of the town and the plan for local public transport, both will help you. The same what concern market places and/or opening hours for any kind of shops. For communication going out of the town you have the railropad, SNCF, or the different bus companies too. And for more information the local tourism office will do their work.
If you are actually staying in the city of Marseille itself, one of the most convenient and perfectly located cheap hotels is the Ibis Budget Vieux Port.
As for deciding where you want to go, I will leave you to your personal research.
