Hi guys,

I'm going to be arriving in Paris via Eurolines from London on Sunday night, and I'm having a nightmare of a time trying to find somewhere to sleep. I was wondering, as a fallback, if there's somewhere I can store my backpack and day pack in the Eurolines coach station on Ave du General de Gaulle. That way, I can at least head off to some late bar somewhere and drink myself through the night, or curl up on a handy bench (hmm... anyone know if that's possible in the coach station, or would they kick me out?)

Thanks a lot,

Rob

For the very first night, have you thought about staying right at Porte de Bagnolet or Porte de Montreuil? There are a shitload of hotels there -- Ibis, Etap, Campanile, Formule 1... You can check availability at Accor Hotels (for Ibis, Etap, Formule 1) or at Louvre Hotels for the Campanile which is right on top of the bus station.

The cheapest option would be the Formule 1 at Porte de Montreuil for 41€.

Thanks mate! While I didn't use any of the hotels you recommended, from looking into that area I did find the HI Le d'Artagnan hostel for €22 - only the 1 night availability, but it's gets me sorted for when I first arrive!
