Any suggestions on a reasonably priced hotel near the Charles De Gaulle airport.I have early flight out and don't want to deal with a city.

Please advise what you consider a reasonable price?

I think we'd need to know if you're dropping off the leased car so you can use a hotel without a shuttle service (what I've done)
BUT...CDG website to the rescue...a map with adjacent hotels...

The TT office should have your airline schedule so they'll know when you have to be at the airport and a van will be available and they'll drop you off at your terminal. Takes very little time to check in (another thing I appreciated). Probably wouldn't hurt to try to find a hotel near the TT location...
If your hotel offers a reasonably priced petit-dejeuner and you have time, I'd take it as the food at the terminals is pricier.

If you stay at one of the Accor hotels at CDG, they have a shuttle between the terminals and the various hotels. They range from 1-star (F1 Hotel) to 5-stars, so you can find every conceivable room rate.

K2 The OP has a lease-hire car he'll need to return to the TT by the airport. I think the van from the TT yard will be much faster than a shuttle from a hotel...I've only had to share a shuttle once, so not a lot of stops.
He got a Peugeot after asking questions about the lease program.

Thanks sfgirl42and kerouac2 you have been very helpful as always. And yes I will be returning a Peugeot lease /buy at CDG the day before I fly out. I will be spending most of time in France(4 weeks) in the Languedoc region. Any suggestions off the beaten track that are not in the tourist guides?

Well, sfgirl42, you are privy to information that was not revealed in this thread so I must apologize for my ignorance. I have not the slightest idea where the car is being picked up or returned.

If you really want to go off the beaten track, how about visiting the Gorges of Kakuetta?

Of course, I have dozens of other suggestions if required.

I only knew about the car hire because the OP had asked for advice from people who had used the lease-purchase plan. I had used the Renault plan and have suggested the program (with whichever manufacturer they choose) as a great program for non-Europe travellers.

samdog you're talking about my favorite part of France...I'd often pick up the car at CDG and drive to Toulouse immediately, spend the night and then go to whichever house/gite I'd rented...I'm afraid I bore many forum regulars with my focus on the area.
Let me know what your main interests are and I'll revert.
I can send PMs so I don't clog up this forum if you want.
Probably not a new edition out but Rough Guide Languedoc-Roussillon is the best guide I found. (not the sort of 'must see' guide)
You could probably find a used copy.
If you're interested in the wines--lucky you! History--ditto!
Do you speak any French?
