I'll be arriving at CDG Airport at 7 in the evening and am planning to take the train the next day around 11 AM from Paris Gare est to Strasbourg. I really do not want to take a taxi to the train station since they cost about EUR 50 - 60. I have seen online that there are trains from CDG to the railway station. Can somebody please tell me how do I get to the train station from the airport? Are there direct trains or will I have to walk a little?

And what are the best options to spend the night in Paris without really blowing up much money.

Take the commuter train (RER) from the airport to Gare du Nord station. You buy the ticket in a machine or at a counter at the airport after following the signs for "Paris RERB".

Gare de l'Est is very close to Gare du Nord -- less than 5 minutes on foot. There are maps and signs everywhere. Have a look on booking.com for a cheap hotel in the area.

May be you waste your time by taking the 10.55 ICE from Paris Est to Strasbourg. As an alternative, you could also sleep at Parc des Expositions (Villepinte), just 1 commuter train stop from CDG airport and go on the following day from CDG airport at 8.59 by direct TGV to Strasbourg ar 10.49.

If you do not want to stray far from the area for your train the next morning, there are at least 50 hotels in every price range swarming around Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. The Ibis hotels there are very reliable (both Ibis and Ibis Styles), but you can find cheaper quite easily if necessary.

The best transportation option is what bjd suggests. It costs 10€.
If your budget is tight there is a cheaper option: by bus #350 from CDG airport direct to Gare de l'Est for a 75 minutes journey. The bust costs 3 single T+ tickets so 3x1.9€. Buy these tickets in the machines located at the airport. If you buy the tickets on board the price will be 6€
Find all the necessary information here:

Hope it helps :-)
