Getting from St Lazare to Montpasse

Sorry for the delay in responding, but thank you all for your comments and suggestions. The bus sounds good, but I take heed of Capttim's advice. We have a bit of time, so we might wait until a bus comes along, see how it looks and if it looks OK we'll then buy tickets and get the next bus. Otherwise we will get a taxi, which looks the safest option. Thank you all again.

In terms of physical safety, of course a taxi is the least safe option, not to mention doing an unneccessary disservice to the environment.

Thank you. I agree - we avoid taxis wherever we can. The only issue is whether we can take our luggage on the bus.
