No if not intending to stay longer than 90 days. Click here to read a little about visa-exempt countries.

Its the same visa for France as for Greece.

90 days at the airport.

If you're travelling on an Australian passport you can stay in France for a total of 90 days without a visa. France is part of the Schengen Zone and the 90 days applies to this entire area. So, if you're travelling to other European countries in the Schengen Zone, before or after France, you need to keep this in mind.

Just noticed you asked the same question in the Italy and Greece sections. Just to clarify, you do not need a visa for any of these countries, but you can only stay up to 90 days in the entire area. That's not 90 days per country, but 90 days altogether.

Just to clarify this a little .................

the holder of a C type Schengen visa is allowed to stay in the Schengen area for maximally 90 days in a 180 days period. This means you can stay in the Schengen area for at most 90 days, then leave for 91 days, then come back, etc. YOU CANNOT RENEW YOUR VISA / VISA WAIVOR BY EXITING AND RE-ENTERING IN LESS THAN 91 DAYS.

There is a good, and more detailed description here ...

Australians do not require any kind of visa for touristic stays up to 90 days, they simply travel visa-free. That means: there simply is no visa.
