i know that i have spelt that wrong but i am really panicking...do i have to apply for this visa or do u get it automatically when you arrive?

It would help to know what nationality you are!
If you are USA, NZ, Australia, Canada etc you just get a stamp on arrival.

Australian citizens do not need to apply for a Schengen visa; however, they have to comply with the Schengen immigration rule.

Be aware that
1) EU does NOT = Schengen
as there are some countries that are in the EU and not the Schengen zone and some countries in the Schengen zone and not in the EU.
2) Some countries in Eastern Europe that are not part of the EU still require visas for Australians and they are generally NOT obtainable at the border. If you are planning to go anywhere in Eastern Europe that isn't part of the EU, you'd be well advised to check the entry requirements in advance. Ukraine, Belarus and Russia will all require you to have a visa and you CANNOT get it at the border to any of these countries. There are likely to be a few other Eastern European countries that you will need a visa for as well.
