Well, there you are...a forest of vibrant, passionate, knowledgeable people. I have read each of your responses and as a whole, they greatly enhanced my month in Paris (June).
In particular, I want to thank Kerouac. He/she has an astounding range and knowledge of Paris....from the tireless response to "how to get from CDG to downtown Paris" to where to get your hair cut, perfume?, cheap hotels, up to the moment sex shop info. to the more in-depth responses Re: Taxes in Paris, Moving to Paris, Bastille Day, Chinatown, Arab-African Paris, music etc. etc. Very, very generous. Thank you.
As a whole, the Thorn Trees are a unique and valuable resource, you may never understand how important you were to my trip.
Thank you, Betsy.

Let's not go overboard, Betsy. Most people here know that I have never set foot in Paris, as I am serving 3 consecutive life sentences in the Butte, Montana, women's penitentiary.
Betsy2 thank you for taking the time for this post. There are a lot of people on this forum who take a lot of time to research and answer the many posts here and it is appreciated.
Where are you going next?

Yes, thank you all. I've received some valuable insight here myself. Be it in public or through PMs, I would definitely not be as knowledgeable as I am now.
So, thanks Kerouac, LouisXIV, Lagatta, Strawberita, Baz Faz, et al. Your diligence on this here forum is greatly appreciated. I'll hope to be able to share whatever it is I learn in the future.
