A friend and I were looking at going to Corisica in early June. We are both studying in France, and would most likely fly from Lyon to Bastia. Does any one know of any cheap flights to Corsica. We are only planning on going for a weekend so we will need to fly as opposed to taking a ferry. Also we have heard that to get between Bastia and Corte there is a train. Does any one have any information about it, cost, frequency, etc? Any other information about Corisca would be greatly appreciated, because there is not much out there. Thanks!!!

CCM announced on the radio that they were going to put out special offers for short stays. Otherwise a train to Marseille then an overnight ferry would probably work out cheaper and would not eat into you visiting time.
All details on the train service on my website: Corsica bus. Dare I say it? My website is generally more up-to-date than the official SNCF one, both on timetables and on any work which might be taking place on the tracks !!
