Hi

I have been in France last month and could not help noticing (and smelling) tourists from various countries. I generally found most tourists not taking care of their basic hygiene - but also noticed some exceptions.

By and large - I found tourists from tropical countries like India, SriLanka etc the cleanest - which was a surprise. When asked - I got a general response that because they live in a tropical climate, they are simply used to having a bath every day of the week.

So even when the temp was like 5C - they always have a bath. While we europeans may not do this regularly.

What do you guys / gals think? Any similar experiences?

Would you say to these clean tourists you meet that a bath per day is way too much. It is a lot of water wasted, please ask them to take a shower per day, they will save a lot of water. Thanks in advance.

Not doing this regularly is a mild understatement. I haven't had a bath since I was 10 years old. Showers are more economical; I can recommend those.
