This is admittedly a rather unusual topic for TT, and I hope I neither offend anyone nor find myself censored, but here goes...
I have recently met a wonderful girl and we would like to try new things. We would like to find an adult boutique that feels classy and sensual rather than the sleaziness you see in the 18th near the Moulin ROuge, or in the 10th near Strasbourg St Denis...
Does anyone one know of such a boutique where we could buy a very simple thing like a vibrator or some such to get us started? We are pretty naif, not at all hardcore or extreme!

There is a Beate Uhse shop on the corner of rue Saint Denis and rue Rambuteau at Les Halles. Aren't those supposed to be a little better than the usual shops?

Lots of tourists go to sex shops in Pigalle. You'll be surprised to find very qualified vendors there who will cater all your needs. It is really not the St Denis harcore stuff.

The Beate Uhse shop was closed last time I walked past it about a month ago.
On boulevard de Clichy near the Moulin Rouge there is a rather big store that seems a lot less shady than most of the other ones, as in, it has a big open storefront, brightly lit, as opposed to a black velvet curtain with goodness know what behind it ! Never been inside but were I looking for a vibrator or other soft-core sex toys that's where I'd go.
