Can anyone recommend a great place to stay on Bayonne? I would like to stay for a couple of days, and don't mind spending a bit extra from budget up to moderate price for a room. My preference is to rent a room with a family or a small and intimate hotel.

I second the Hotel Loustau - we stayed there a couple of years ago - try to get a room at the front of the hotel - great views accross the river to the city. Also very convenient for the train station.
