Baby Equipment hire

I have been searching the internet madly looking for a company in Paris that will hire a baby cot/crib.
Does anyone know of any service that provides this? It is incredibly expensive to bring our own - cheaper to buy a new one in fact.

We are staying in an apartment and they can't provide one for us.

If not a hire company - can anyone suggest a large store where we could buy one - like babies galore or babies r us - that isn't too far outside of the centre? My husband gets there 3 weeks before us so he can get one if needed.
