I'm taking a TGV from Tours (Loire Valley) to catch an Air France flight from CDG to the UK. The flight departs at 1300, and Air France says bag drop for UK flights closes 40 mins before, i.e. 1220.

If my TGV is scheduled to arrive at 1145, is this sufficient time to make the bag drop? I can see that I can get from the station to 2E by moving walkways. Also, can I be reasonably assured (say 90% or better likelihood) that my TGV will arrive at CDG on time?

Would not be my idea of a pleasant morning, yes TGV have pretty good punctuality rates, but any delay or even strike could ruin your plans. And whilst 40 minutes might be desk closing time, add getting through security and finding your gate and that will be tight. I certainly would not be trying something like that. There are direct flights to the UK from Tours.
