Hi all,

I am going to France in a few weeks and I am wondering if anyone has stayed at the following hostels and what they thought about any of them. Thank you very much!!

I live very close to Carcassonne & personally I think you'd have more fun at the Millett Guesthouse; Sidsmums is off the beaten track, there's no regular transport in & out so you have to rely on the owner & her minibus.

Being in Carcassonne means that you can explore town, La Cite & then go south on the SNCF line towards Perpignan

PS. The FUAJ in Carcassonne is excellent, had a few of my HelpX'ers stay there who've all said it was good value, clean & friendly. It's also right in La Cite.

Preixan, the Sidsmums village is just another hilltop village with few amenities .. if you have your own transport you'd be fine!
