Hi everyone! I have a 16 hour lay over in Paris. I get into CDG at 10pm and leave the next day at 2pm. I'd like to find a place to stay that is convenient either to the airport (where I can easily travel to see the Eiffel Tower and back) or to the Eiffel Tower (where I can get in late at night, get some shut eye, see the Tower, then get back out to the airport).
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
~Amy

From CDG to Eiffel tower: Take the RER B (Blue) towards Paris (direction Antony, Robinson, St-Remy-les-Chevreuse). Change at St-Michel Notre Dame from RER B to RER C (yellow) in the direction of Versailles-Rive Gauche. Exit at station Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel.

I'd therefore base yourself around St-Michel Notre Dame RER station. Helpfully this is also conveniently walking distance across to the island to Notre Dame (about 300 metres). If you can get up early enough, you could do that first thing, walk back to the RER, grab the C (yellow) round to Tour Eiffel, hop up that and back down in an hour, be back at your hotel by 10:30 and then pick up your bags and charge off to the airport.

Perfect! Suggestions on a place to stay near the St-Michel Notre Dame RER station? I don't need much. Just a place to rest my head and feel safe.

Depends on your budget, but I have no personal suggestions (maybe someone else does). I used Google Maps just now to zoom into the area in question asking it for hotels and it came up with about 2 dozen :)
