Hello,

In August, together with three friends, I will go one week in Austria, we want to make some trekking routes in the Alpi.I have not been in Austria before, so I could use any advice.

I prefer a circular trekking route , returning us to where we left the car, 6-8 hours per day and night to sleep in chalets, not to take our tents.

I could use any advice :proposed routes (that I would be interested primarily), accommodation etc.

Thank you.

Austria has hiking possibilities from one end of the country to the other.

To illustrate:

This is not a recommendation as such, just a link I have. Even so, you see that it has a hiking menu, with several descriptions of 2-6 hour hikes. There are some even more difficult/longer possibilities not on the website. They even describe an "Adlerweg" which is a longer route through Tirol.

Such possibilities are everywhere. And it is difficult to make a choice with no information. I'm sure if you google something like 'hiking Austria' you will get lots of alternatives.
