Short stay in Vienna in June

Hello, I found a cheap flight to Vienna in 2 weeks and was planning to spend a week in the city and around the area. I have 3 questions:

1- My flight arrives at 23pm on Monday, I have no luggage so I guess I will be leaving the airport between 23 30pm and 00am. Is it too late to take the metro or SBahn to the city center? I dont want to spend te money I saved on the ticket in a taxi fare.

2- I found 3 nice studios, one is in Favoriten, one in Wallersteinstrasse near Aaugarten on the other side of the canal and the third on Heinestrasse 5. Any reccommendations about the neighbourhood? I want something close to the center and with some life to go out at night to a cafe or have dinner out in the area.

3- I am meeting and acquintance to whom I own a favour there for dinner. Any suggestions for a nice cute restaurant which is not very expensive'? Any personal inputs will be welcome.

The last S7 leaves at 00:18 but by the time you get to Landstrasse the ubahn will be closed and you will have to take a taxi. So you can go straight from the airport to your place near the Augarten for 35 or you can take the train and a taxi for 13. There is great pizza place there called Pizza Mari. Not cute but a nice atmosphere and the schremser beer and fenel sausage pizza cannot be beat.

Depending on where you are in Favoriten, you may be a fair way out so I'd eliminate that one...
