I hope to purchase dinner/concert tickets as a gift for my parents who are visiting Vienna in April. The websites are very confusing! My parents are not into opera in a big way, but could happily sit through a nice meal, followed by some pleasant music in a memorable setting. Any advice out there? Should I book a meal separately or just go for a 'dinner package' which I fear may turn out to be a rip-off? Thanks in anticipation.

To be honest, I don't know any places like this in Vienna.
But I'd suggest visiting a nice Mozart or Haydn concert (or something like that) and going for dinner afterwards. The links of schabernack should help you. Don't book any tourist concerts if possible (don't trust the guys dressed like Mozart), they aren't worth being visited.
