Hi I'm going to be cycling south from Munich to Venice at the end of this month (September) and I want to stop and do a hike or two on the way in the Alps. Ideally I'd like to trek up a reasonably high mountain (I hiked Zugspitze last month, something this height is good) but which doesn't require crampons or technical skills. Does anyone know of some good peaks I could aim for that are near to my route?

Thanks

Chris

I think I'm going to try Lasorling, anyone done this?

Hey Chris!

We are presently cycling in Austria, in Salzburg at moment waiting out some rain. What is your route you will follow?
Just curious as we are in midst of deciding our route now.

the lasörling seems to be a good option, but it depends on the weather at this time of the year. from lasörlinghuette in 2350 meters it is 3 hours to the top, this huette is open until 30.september

Thanks. I think it isn't going to be possible. There is 10cm of snow forecast for Wednesday this week and I won't be there for at least another ten days.
