Hi,

apologies if this question has been exhausted - but I am going to fly into bratislava at night, and go to vienna the following morning. What are my options for getting into Vienna?

also, I will be in Vienna over bank holiday August weekend - are there any special events on, or any good clubs that can be recommended?

I've been learning german for the past 7 months, so anywhere young and full of local fun people that you can recommend would be appreciated!

thanks!

There is a bus, a train, and a hydrofoil. I am sure if you google the relevant words the various transport companies will come up. Bus is most frequent. Hydrofoil most fun.

Which bank holiday? I am not aware of any bank holidays in august in austria.

I'm presuming this refers to this weekend, today being Maria Himmelfahrt (Feast of Assumption)...otherwise doesn't make much sense...

hi, should we book a train in advance to vienna from bratislava, or is it easy enough to book a train on the day?

There is no need to prebook a ticket for this ride! Just go to the station, buy a ticket and enter the train.
