Hi there.
My wife and I intend to do the "Berliner High Trail" early September. Walking about 7 days from hut to hut. We are now in the middle of the planning and would like to know:
1. Do we need to take slipping bag…?
2. Is it possible each morning to send our luggage to the next hut…?
3. What about food: dinner, breakfast and something during the walking…?

Thanks a lot

you need a liner

. meals available - perhaps not gourmet but normally good. water etc.

luggage when hiking in mountains ? - you carry own necessities

ask about weather daily - at times you find quickly developing late day rain storms-

Best to reserve huts. This area is very popular and still busy in early september.

good to join an alpine club as good discounts to huts are avaiable.
