Hi, I'm a 22 year old female from Australia and I'm travelling to London (and parts of Europe) in mid august for 6 weeks. I will be backpacking and solo! I've never been to London however it is my first destination and I'm looking for some ideas on the best hostel to stay at and what to see/do. I am planning to stay maybe for a week or so but am flexible! TIA :)
I honestly can't recommend this enough. Make the trip to Skellig Michael. It is a breathtaking and utterly surreal experience. It's been 2 years since I made the trip, but I'm still thinking about it to this day.
I am a travel filmmaker, so I put together this short film about our road trip experience from Dublin to Portmagee, where we caught our boat to the island: https://youtu.be/mSaAzduvUtk
I first heard about the place from Star Wars, which has given a huge boost to the area. But I came…

Hi all
My Uncle is visiting me here in the UK from NZ, he has a NZ driving license, has lived there for over 50 years but is a uk citizen and passport holder.
I offered him the use of my campervan..... but now I find my insurance company will not add him to my policy.
I have tried to find a separate policy but am getting no-where.
Does anyone know of a UK company that will insure him on my van for a couple of months?
cheers Tony
Hello! My husband and I are planning our second trip to Ireland in August (August 18-28; 9 full days) and I was wondering where your favorite places in Ireland are?

It was AMAZING!!! And super action packed.
This time…
Hello all!
We are gearing up for a stay in London 9/23-9/28 before we head up to Nottingham to visit with friends. We are currently looking for accommodations and have come across several pubs with rooms. I think this would be a great option for us as we are looking for something away from the "chain feel" of the large hotels but not necessarily a bed and breakfast. Does anyone have any input or insight? The two we are looking at are The Sanctuary House Hotel and The Grazing Goat. We are also…

Hi peeps, I am a parent of a 7yr old girl who does not like to wear her waterproof jacket when the weather requires one but I have contacted the school asking them to make sure that Bethany wears her jacket when it's raining or cold outside, especially after school because she has a tendency to come out with it in her schoolbag or on her but wide open whereas I prefer it zipped up so I asked her teachers to advise her to zip her jacket before she comes out but the school do not heed my request…

We wish to visit best places in Scotland, England, northern Ireland.
Our preference is:

I am noticing that Glasgow airport is pretty near to the city. Any bus options besides the shuttle to get to town?
My friend lives on the west side and the shuttle only drops off around downtown. Thanks!
