Hello! I am planning a road trip around Ireland and Northern Ireland in September for about 10 days. I have an itinerary put together but Ireland is rather expensive and I don't think I can afford to go. Plus, travel experiences are fun with someone else! I will be 29 soon and looking for preferably another younger female to travel with. Anyone know of good websites to use or anyone interested?

Good morning all!

My husband and I are in the beginning stages of planning our first trip to Scotland. Originally from the US, I have always had a dream of heading out on a UK trip and really seeing the amazing history that the land has to offer.

We have a few questions we would love to hear some feedback on!

We have four young children, is it an easy trip to make with kiddos?

What would you suggest we see if we are mostly interested in the history?

Where would you suggest we stay to get…

In June, I'll be tackling the West Highland Way for the first time.
Are there any stretches where it's easy to get lost or is it just one well marked track?

hello

my husband and i are planning a trip and cannot decide between these two options

1 - traveling to scotland
2 - traveling to scotland and then train to london

option 1 we would fly into glasgow, travel to the highlands and then finish our journey in edinbrugh
option 2 - we could fly into edinbrugh, take a day trip or two to the highlands and then make our way to london for 3-4 days.

would option 2 be too rushed? should we just maximize our time to explore one country??

We don't like to…

My fiancé and I are planning a 2 week roadtrip of Scotland near the end of June and early July. We were hoping to rent a car and camping gear when we arrive in Glasgow and then wild camp for most of the roadtrip. Is this possible? Any tips for this sort of trip? Would love any ideas of where to rent camping gear in or near Glasgow. Thanks!

Hello.

I am a size 24 top. Size 26 bottoms (uk sizing). About 300lb. I am losing weight but I have run out of time before a few plane trips. I don't want to miss out of such fantastic opportunities but I am having panic attacks over not being able to fit in the seat at all and being kicked off the flight altogether.

The link below is to some pictures of me (as everyone carries weight differently.) Has anyone got any comforting words or stories?

Hello! My husband and I are taking our second trip to Ireland in August. I've put together a rough itinerary and wanted to get some feedback on it.

We have 9 full days to spend and I wanted to visit the southwest this time. I've been contemplating a day trip to Northern Ireland but with the distance, I'm wondering if it would be more wise to save NI for another trip and focus on the southwest for this one.

Here are two possible itineraries I've put together. All constructive input…

Hi all! Traveling to Ireland in October and this is the plan. We’re planning on being up early and out late each night, and like to go so that’s no problem, but are we taking on to much? If so what should we cut/change?
Day 1: Fly into Belfast early in the AM(from Edinburgh), using public transport visit Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-Rede bridge, end in Giants Causeway(staying there).
Day 2: Using public transport, visit Dark Hedges, then spend end of the day in Dublin. Spend night in Dublin.
Day 3…

Hello,
I'm planning a trip to Ireland with my father for late September-early October. We're both very active, and looking to see as much as we possibly can with the limited time we have. He's already been to Dublin, and is excited to show me around (we're Irish, but he's only been once). We like to hike, and are primarily looking to spend time outside (even if it's pouring rain!!). Two years ago I did a Scotland trek, two weeks across the whole island. I'm looking for an equally packed…
