Hi all - just wondering if anyone can share their experience of obtaining a UK Ancestry Visa, in particular any Australians. I qualify to apply, I have all the birth certificates and passports etc....the official application doesn't seem to require anything else apart from proof of funds or a letter of offer of employment. I planning to use a month round the Ireland. I only travel by BUS and start my trip from Belfast.

1) Questions for Northern Ireland :

I will stay Belfast around 3/4/5 nights, and then find some day tours to Antrim and Derry, except Paddywagon/buseireann, any others good & budget tours companies can advise? I also want to visit Donegal, I should go there from Belfast or better to visit from Galway to Sligo and then to Donegal? Any others must visit?? After Belfast, I will go to Dublin.

Went up to Scotland over the weekend & stayed with a friend in Gourdon, just south of Stonehaven on the east coast, then took some fantastic back roads cross-country to Oban via Pitlochry & Glen Coe.

I'm planning on trekking around the country with my girlfriend during the mid to late summer months (July to August) and am a great fan of disc golf. I seem to have some trouble finding any information about any courses within Ireland though. Would you know of any public or private courses around? If so, are there any specific costs associated to play?

I am planning a trip to Ireland, and would love some feedback re: the following tentative itinerary.

16 July - arrive Edinburgh, Scotland - 3 nights
19 July - Fly to Dublin arriving 5pm, stay 2 nights
21-22 - Kilkenny for 2 nights, w/ side trip to Cashel
23-24 - 2 nights either Kinsale or Cork (which??)
25th - Kenmare (Ring of Beara, possibly Ring of Kerry)
26-28th - Dingle Peninsula, 3 nights
29-31st - Galway, w/ side trips to Connemara, Cliffs of Moher, Burren
Aug. 1st - Fly home from Shannon

I am considering staying there next month, and want to know if it is easy to get there from Heathrow later on a Saturday evening? I have a day in London between Prague and the U.S. and this looks like a decent deal what do you guys think who know this area?
