A topic much debated once in a while, and as a result of recent legilation changes {as announced by that financial genius Gordon Brown} things are chaning for those who have single person ltd co's under an umbarella.

For starters Corporation Tax will rise from 19% to 22% from 06 Apr 07. And expenses incurred as a result travel TO & FROM work will not be permitted. Or so I have been told.

As of Aug 07 it will ALL change again!

However what many of the companies are not telling you is that the status…

ie: Glaswegians are from Glasgow, __________ are from Edinburgh...

I know the term Edinburgers, but I think that's a derogatory term...??? What do people from Edinburgh refer to themselves as?

Just wondering if a trip and a night time play is too much for a day trip. Would you take a train or a bus and more importantly how do you get back so late at night? any one done this Tips? suggestions?

So I have finally gotten over the shock of booking a hostel (still can't believe that some of the YHA are $50 a night) now I am thinking about what to do because everything is soooo bloody expensive and I will be in Gb for a month (trying to conserve cash)
Has anyone been to a Shakespeare play at the Globe and been a 'groundling' and stood in the yard for the play. It seems fairly cheap. It is packed and a 'writhing mass of humanity'? is 2 hours too long to just stand there?? Could I wait until…

I am trying to arrange a trip for myself to travel to Scotland. I am going in and out of Edinburgh for about two weeks. I heard there was a boat cruise up in the Orkneys? or in the Hebrides. Has anyone travelled this way. Was it a good way to spend a week or is it more interesting to stay in little towns. I arrive on May 10th. Thought I would do a couple days in Ed, then start my way up. Is it a good time to travel in Irland of above peiod???

How's the degree? Will always have heavy rain?

What's the time of sunrise and sunset? What's the time of get dark? (I heard that around 10pm.... is it correct???)

Will be taking the Eurostar to London in Spring of 2008. I will spend most of my European trip in Germany but plan on staying 3/4 nights in London. any suggestions on where to stay and what to see? I know its a huge city and time is limited.

Hi, I'm planning on making a trip to Stirling and I've found it hard to find good reviews on the 2 hostels there. Nearest I can tell is that Willy Wallace Hostel seems to be an okay place to stay, but isn't very clean or safe to leave backpacks there. And I can't seem to find any reviews on the SYHA Stirling. My main concern is having a safe place to leave my backpack during the day. Can anyone recommend one hostel over the other?
