Hello Fellow Travelers!

I have a trip brewing that I'd love any and all ideas about how to make a reality. Here's by romantic vision of what this trip will be....

I land in Dublin, Ireland with a backpack (in which is a hammock of course) and I find a great B&B type place to land my gear and get showered up. Then I head into town (public transportation or walking to get there) and find an amazing meal with fantastic music. I get good and liquored up, enjoy the music, maybe dance a little and…

My Canadian daughter is halfway through a two year youth mobility visa to the UK - she is living in Scotland. Shortly after she arrived there, she met a Scottish man and well, they have recently gotten engaged!

I'm trying to find out some information on what happens next for them. If they get married in Scotland (can they?), and they want to remain living there, how does she go about becoming a citizen?

What if they were to come to Canada to visit and were to marry here but still plan on…

I was refused entry to the UK a couple of years ago. I am a US Citizen and I was traveling back home from a trip to Europe with a short layover (4 hours) in Heathrow. I was going to grab coffee with an old friend at the airport and be on my way. The reason for the refusal was that the immigration officer didn't think I had enough time to make my connecting flight. My passport wasn't stamped but he held on to my completed entry card. No big deal, got on a shuttle and moved through the airport to…

Hello!

Husband and I have spent the last few months planning our trip to England/Scotland which is taking place this June. We are very excited! I love planning all the details of our trip and have come up with the below itinerary. Flights are locked in. Hotels have been booked (but mostly using booking websites which will let me cancel for free) - so if needed I can change. Would love to have experienced travelers critique/give feedback on our itinerary. I tend to "over plan" our trips - so I…

My fiance and I are traveling to Ireland for our honeymoon! We fly into Dublin on June 21st and leave the 29th. We are entirely clueless how to maximize our trip without rushing around like mad. We know our time there isn't that long, but need some tips on some must see cities/hot spots we should try and see as first-time visitors.

We are extremely excited about viewing castles/historic sites, stopping to enjoy pubs/nightlife and visiting museums. Can anyone help us out? I have no idea where to…

My husband and I are in our 60's and fairly active people who enjoy walks/hikesI have my heart set on seeing Isle of Skye and other parts of the Scottish Highlands. I can't figure out how much time I can take there and still see the other sights we want to see. We like a good mix of history, scenery, gardens, and my husband enjoys shopping a lot more than I do. Please review my itinerary and advise what to restructure and/ eliminate. We will have a car. This is our 6th trip to Europe; first…
