UK & Ireland

Hi folks, just a heads-up. I flew out of Newcastle Airport last week on Emirates and for the first time since using them my hand luggage was weighed. The limit they are enforcing at check in is 7 Kg. I was 1 Kg over but they allowed me to place my "excess" in to the bag I was placing in the hold. Talking with others from the UK whilst waiting for a connection in Dubai it seems all UK airports are applying this limit also.

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and I would like to get your advice on travelling to Ireland the UK & France. It will be my first time solo travelling. I would like to spend about 1 week in Ireland & Northern Ireland, 1 week in England & Scotland & 1 Week in France. Would that be enough to visit most major tourist attractions? and the small towns & country side? What are your recommendations? How much money would I need? I'm an Australian citizen (who has been away from Australia for a long long time).
I've just had a six month stint in the UK (in Scotland) and I'm wondering if I can go to The Republic of Ireland from here without grief from Immigration? Or will that count as overstaying?
My UK 180 visa free days are up on the 30th of July and I was hoping to fly from Dublin to NYC early August. Is this viable?

Hi everyone!

My girlfriend and I are heading to Ireland for a road trip, in the first week of September. We're looking to island hop through Aran and stay overnight somewhere. So we can get away from the car for a while, do some walking / exploring, and get a bit closer to the 'rawmess' of Ireland.

We're intending to head out from and return to Doolin. But the LPlanet guide book suggests this may not be realistic, as 'ferries are often cancelled'.

Im a 26 year old male who love history and culture, also big into sports and scenic places.
im started to plan a trip to Ireland the Uk and Part of europe. This trip is still a ways off as im still saving and planing ...

Hey there, i have next week off from the 10th to 16th, and wanted to take a week trip away from the madness of London, as I don't know much about the outside(I'm from Germany) of the City (a few trips to Oxford, and Edinburgh), I'm told that in Devon there is some good chilled out beaches, and Surf Schools to get into, can someone recommend where to head on the coast, and a good surfing and nature spot.
