What is the most romantic place you have stayed at in England? Why do you think it’s soooooooooooooooo romantic, where is it & how much did it cost (link would be great)?

Swainstone Manor, Isle of Wight - suprised my wife for her 32nd birthday. We even drove up to the hotel in my BRG Morgan. Excellent couple of days that cost a bloody fortune!

Worth it.

Hipping Hall Hotel in Kirby Lonsdale...it's been done up now but the baronial dining room wasa hoot especially as we were the only guests there and they DID have an amazing honesty bar ..our drinks were getting larger by the night honestly but we did pay for them.
Lovely Dales towns nearby to walk talk and explore and we had a 4 poster bed...sigh....pity we broke up but it is a lovely place...and let's face it, you can be romantic in a tent or a 5 star hotel if it's LOVE right?Happy hunting!
