Planning a holiday to Scotland / Ireland

Im a 38 yo female from Sydney Australia, looking for someone who may be in the same situation as me.

Ive always wanted to go to Scotland..but havent yet. I have a partner who is not really interested in going..but I would like to take this opportunity to go myself without him while I still have the chance. But Id love to find someone else to travel with. Ive travelled overseas heaps before.

P.S. I havent planned anything yet so Im starting from scratch :)

I am 40yo female in the same position. This is probably short notice but if you are interested, I'll be travelling 21st or 22nd of June, leaving from Essex (east of London) and heading North to Scotland by car. I'm not planning to do an organised trek though. I'm going to look where I want to go, take the car there, walk for the day then take the car somewhere else next day. I'm still at the planning stage but to give you an idea, I'm looking at Inverness, the Isle of Skye... I'm not booking hotels either. I'll be calling on the day to book depending on where the road takes me. I know someone who has done the trip like that and it worked fine.
That's very short notice but if you can make the trip, that'd be cool... :-)
