The other positive with Transferwise is that they guarantee any given rate for 48 hours which in volatile money markets can be a godsend especially when transferring large amounts. GB sterling has taken large hits lately (Brexit et al) and is up and down almost daily. Proved recently to be a huge bonus for me transferring money to UK rather than out.

Every group has its own dynamics, if you can't see the idiot then it's probably you.
