Headed to Dublin/Galway

On September 24th through October 4th. Staying in Dublin for the first 6 nights, already have a good idea of where Im going to stay there. My real problem is Galway not sure if I should stay in the city center there or go to letterfrak. Suggestions?

Letterfrack has it delights, a pretty little bit of coast I guess. More known for its famine history and the brutality of its industrial school. Galway is a festival town, very fun and lively IMO.

They are chalk and cheese, your tastes will decide where you want to go.
