Cheap (ish) but clean and comfy B&B in LondonCountry forums / UK & Ireland / England
I wondered if anyone knows of a reasonably priced, pleasant B&B, fairly close to the centre of London. I'm hoping to spend a week or so there in April or May next year. It doesn't have to be posh, just clean and comfortable and hopefully run by somebody who is friendly and helpful.

We stay in Hotel Meridian - Kings Cross we considered this cheap for London, bed and breakfast (cooked and continental) only 2 minutes walk from Kings Cross Tube and if you want to walk not far from wherever. Management looked after our luggage until our room was ready as we had a early flight into London and looked after our luggage last day as we had a flight late in afternoon also. They have 27 rooms of all sorts ie single & double rooms with bathrooms, as well as rooms with shared bathrooms etc. depends on what you want to pay. Clean but basic. There seemed to be a lot of Hotel in this area. Have a good stay. | 2
Thanks for the info. I tried to look up Hotel Meridian, Kings Cross, but couldn't find it. Is Hotel Meridian the same as Le Meridien, Piccadilly? That's the only similarly named hotel I could find on the internet. It looks a bit too expensive and up market for me! | 3
