bed and breakfasts

Does anyone have a suggestion of a good place to review bed and breakfasts in different towns/cities? Does anyone have a b and b they would recommend in Dublin and Galway? We are looking for something that is moderately priced. Thanks.

There aren't alot of places in Dub which would call themselves BnBs and even less that you might find through a booking site and even less that you would probably want to stay at. Alot of the BnBs are out towards Croke park or north of Parnell Sq and they don't look great form the outside. because they are designed as cheap accom for visitors from the country going to a game at Croke Park.

This website - http://www.budgetplaces.com/dublin/budget-bed_and_breakfast-list/ - has TA reviews which would help. Check out Tipperary house which is probably 10-15mins walk from Temple Bar. I imagine they do Galway on the website as well. Keep an eye on things like distance from city centre, parking if necessary etc.

And moderately priced is not helpful as the description of a value.

http://www.bandbireland.com/ is a good place to look. There are some reviews, but not many
