Bank Holiday

Hello,

Just wondering is everything open in London on the Bank Holiday?... as in touristy things...

And if I was to go to say Cambridge........ would everything be open there..... or anywhere else for that matter.

Not sure but Notting Hill Carnival is on! It's fantastic, all the fun will be there.

Yeah was thinking of going to that too.... but everyone I know is out of town at the moment... so wonder if its really something I can do by myself

my friends away too, I dont mind doing things by myself but Notting Hill is more of a group event. I think all of the tourist attractions are open with maybe Sunday hours on the Monday. I am going to go on a guided tour of Soho on Sunday with free gossip thrown in, should be fun.

Banks will be closed - otherwise it'll be a pretty normal day

In some cases shops will have Sunday opening hours. Trains will be on a special timetable again often as Sunday. In the cities a lot of shops will be open, but elsewhere they are likely to be closed unless it is a tourist destination.
