She didnt know about airlines, so she came to a travel site and asked a travel question.
What do you want us to do, to all stop asking questions and close down the site?

so now you're not allowed to ask questions about airlines or travel.....you have to have done hours of research and found other sites and forums before you post a simple question here... you have to spellcheck and use correct grammar....hmm so what are the other rules about posting these days? i'm getting a little hesitant in case i have a question to post sometime soon that isn't deemed worthy of being asked in a - travel forum. :/
if some people find it so tiresome and annoying to read (completely reasonable) questions like the OP asked, why don't you just steer clear of the post and save your unhelpful replies.
as for the original question: i have flown cathay and they were good (have a family member whose a captain so maybe i'm bias anyway)...singapore is still my first choice though. every time ive flown qantas international i've been disapointed. sorry don't know about malaysian airways..
