Accents on the Isle of Man

The same to what? There are all sorts of accents in Britain.

Manx is a bit of a mixture between Liverpool & Lancashire, with a bit of Ulster thrown in for good measure. As for variations - I have no idea. All my relatives sound on the Scouse side of manx,(they're from Douglas) but I have friends over there who sound more as if they're from Northern Ireland than Liverpool.

OP, the IoM is so small, and Douglas isn't a city, that a major difference can't be seen. If anything people in Douglas are less likely to be Manx so they won't have a manx accent at all. Scouse is derived from Irish so if there is a similarity it won't be that the islanders are copying the scallies way of talking, that is left to people from the Wirral / Ormskirk etc.

I was looking up info on the IoM and something like 35% of residents there are English.

There was a brief mention of accents in Douglas and those in rural areas.
